About Empowerment Living

About Empowerment Living Ltd

Empowerment Living provides personalised care and support designed around the needs, preferences and circumstances of each individual.

Based in Nottingham, our focus is on supporting people with dignity, respect and greater independence while helping individuals and families feel informed and supported throughout the care journey.

Who we are

Care and Support Centred Around the Individual

At Empowerment Living, we recognise that every person has different circumstances, routines, preferences and support needs.

Our approach begins by understanding the individual rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model of care.

We aim to provide support that respects personal choice, promotes dignity and enables people to maintain as much independence and control over everyday life as possible.

Our approach

Our Approach to Care

The support being considered should begin with the person, their circumstances and what matters to them.

Person-Centred

Care arrangements should reflect the individual receiving support.

Respectful

People should be treated with dignity, compassion and consideration.

Flexible

The type and level of support should be considered according to assessed needs.

Independence-Focused

Support should encourage choice, confidence and participation wherever appropriate.

Clear Communication

Individuals and families should be able to ask questions and understand the care being discussed.

Our mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide personalised support that helps individuals live with greater choice, dignity and independence.

Empowering Independence, One Step at a Time.

Our values

What Matters to Us

Dignity

Supporting each person in a way that values their identity, privacy and individual circumstances.

Choice

Listening to preferences and helping people remain involved in decisions about their support.

Respect

Approaching every conversation and care arrangement with consideration and understanding.

Independence

Encouraging people to retain choice, confidence and everyday involvement wherever appropriate.

Compassion

Providing support with patience, empathy and awareness of what matters to the individual.

Communication

Explaining care clearly and making space for questions from the people involved.

Everyday support

Supporting Independence at Home

Care is not simply about doing things for somebody. Good support should, where appropriate, help people remain involved in their own routines, decisions and everyday life.

Every person has different circumstances and goals, so the right balance of assistance and independence should be considered individually.

Working with Individuals and Families

Arranging care can involve questions and important decisions. Empowerment Living aims to communicate clearly, understand the person's needs and discuss appropriate support with those involved in the care journey.

Where family members or others are appropriately involved, we aim to help everyone understand the support being considered. The individual receiving support remains central to the conversation.

Care You Can Discuss With Confidence

Choosing care is an important decision. We encourage individuals and those appropriately involved to ask questions, discuss concerns and understand the proposed care arrangement.
